A new video introduced the 4-star character Kujou Sara. She will come with Patch 2.1 in the new banner for Genshin Impact.
This is Kujou Sara: The loyal servant of the Raiden Shogun is feared by her opponents for her ruthlessness and efficiency. Although she was only adopted by the Kujou clan, she is fully committed to serving her mistress and works tirelessly to realize her vision of a world without death.
That’s why she fully supports the decree of the Raiden Shogun that all residents of Inazuma must surrender their visions. The rebels are relentlessly hunted by her. However, as a samurai, Sara also values her honor. She fights fairly and despises dishonorable actions such as torture.
Sara will be available starting September 1 with the new banner of Update 2.1. You can watch the official trailer for Kujou Sara here:
Second Electro Archer of Genshin Impact
This is what Kujou Sara can do:
- Rarity: 4 stars
- Element: Electro
- Weapon: Bow
- Constellation: Flabellum
With her normal attack, Sara can fire up to 5 arrows. The charged attack deals more damage and has a higher accuracy; when fully charged, it is also converted into Electro damage. The charged attack is also important for Sara’s elemental skill.
Her E-skill is called Tengu Stormcall and puts her in a special state “Crow Feather Cap”. When Sara performs a fully charged attack in this state, it consumes the feather cap and instead leaves a crow feather on the field.
This feather explodes after some time, dealing Electro damage to nearby enemies and additionally increasing the attack of characters within the effect range with the buff “Tengu Juurai: Ambush”.
Sara’s ultimate ability summons a Tengu Juurai – Titan Breaker at the target of the attack, causing Electro area damage. It then splits into 4 consecutive Tengu Juurai – Lightning Bundles, all of which also deal Electro area damage.
Similar to Sara’s E-skill, the Lightning Bundles also grant characters within their effect range an attack bonus. However, the two effects do not stack. Only the effect that was applied last takes effect.
These are her passive talents:
- Land Surveying: Reduces the time of explorations occurring within Inazuma’s influence by 25%
- Composure: Reduces the charge time of aimed shots by 60% when Sara is in the “Crow Feather Cap” state
- Decency: Upon hitting enemies with Tengu Juurai – Ambush, restores Elemental Energy for all group members by 1.2 points for every 100% of Sara’s charge rate.
What’s Coming in Update 2.1
The new update also brings a whole range of additional content. In addition to the character banner featuring Raiden Shogun and Kujou Sara in the Electro duo, there will be two more characters and also a new weapon banner.
You can also look forward to the following content:
- The story quests of Chapter 2: Act 3.
- 2 new islands of Inazuma – “Watatsumi” and “Seirai”.
- New bosses.
- The new mechanic: fishing.
- The capacity of the kettle of transience will be increased. This means you can build more items in housing.
- All charge bonuses in the “Charge Crystals” window will be reset once.
