In Genshin Impact there are 3 new promo codes. They will again provide you for free with Original Resin, the premium currency of the RPG, as well as other rewards. We at MeinMMO will reveal what the codes are and how you can redeem them.
What are these codes?
- dU2mhjQL1ZT – 100 Original Resin, 5x Hero’s Wisdom
- nBEm3myAL2b – 100 Original Resin, 50,000 Mora
- jsSK8n23jzR – 100 Original Resin, 10x Mystic Enhancement Ore
The three codes come from the developer stream for the upcoming Patch 1.3. They can currently be redeemed, as of January 22, 2021. The codes can only be used once per account and will expire over time. These two old codes may still work.
How do you redeem the code? To be able to redeem the code, you must have reached Adventure Level 10 in the game. They cannot be used before. Redeeming is very simple:
- Log in on the official website
- Go to “Redeem Gift Codes”
- Select your region
- Enter your character name
- Paste the code
- You will then receive the reward in-game
Alternatively, you can also redeem the code in-game now. Additionally, you can since Patch 1.1 for Genshin Impact use codes on PS4 as well. This only works in-game there.
Go to the settings in the game (the gear icon) and you will find the “Account” button just before the last position. There you can redeem the gift code.

What is Original Resin? Original Resin is one of the most important currencies in the game. You can use it to either utilize the Gacha system with the prayers and hope for new characters or to purchase “Original Resin”.
The resin is needed in the endgame to defeat bosses or to scour the spheres for materials. An adjustment to the resin is planned for Patch 1.3.
You can get Original Resin most quickly and easily through real money. Besides using real money, you can also farm Original Resin in-game, for example, through daily missions, quests, or treasure chests.
What do the other rewards bring?
- Hero’s Wisdom provides your characters with experience points. Each use grants you 20,000 XP.
- Mystic Enhancement Ore gives you 10,000 experience points for your weapon.
- Mora is the in-game currency used for various items in the game.
