In Genshin Impact there are 3 promo codes that you can redeem for Patch 1.6. They provide you with free Primogems, the premium currency of the RPG, as well as additional rewards. We at MeinMMO will reveal what the codes are and how you can redeem them.
What are these codes?
- GS6ACJ775KNV – 60 Primogems
- SBNBUK67M37Z – 30 Primogems and 5x Hero’s Wit
- GENSHINGIFT – 50 Primogems and 3x Hero’s Wit
- GenshinEpic – 10,000 Mora, 10x Hero’s Wit, 5 Enhancement Ores, various dishes
- GenshinGalaxy – 10,000 Mora, 10x Hero’s Wit, 5 Enhancement Ores, various dishes
Note: These codes have been available for several days. However, the codes can still be redeemed (tested on June 9 at 10:30 AM), so returning players with Patch 1.6 can redeem them directly.
How do you redeem the code? To redeem the code, you need to have reached Adventure Rank 10 in the game. They cannot be used before that. The redemption itself is very simple:
- Log in on the official website
- Go to “Redeem Codes”
- Select your region
- Enter your character name
- Paste the code
- And you will receive your reward in-game
Alternatively, you can also redeem the code in-game now. Also, since Patch 1.1 for Genshin Impact you can also use codes on the PS4. This only works in-game.
Go to the settings (the gear icon) in the game and second to last you’ll find the “Account” button. There you can redeem the gift code.
Primogems and additional experience points
What are Primogems? Primogems are one of the most important currencies in the game. You can use them to either make use of the gacha system with the wishes and hope for new characters or to buy “Original Resin.”
The resin is needed in the endgame to defeat bosses or to sift through spheres for materials. An adjustment to the resin is planned for Patch 1.3.
By far the quickest and easiest way to obtain Primogems is through real money. In addition to spending actual money, you can also farm Primogems in-game, for example, through daily missions, quests, or treasure chests.
What do the other rewards provide?
- Mora is the in-game currency of the game
- Hero’s Wit gives your characters experience points. Each use grants you 20,000 XP.
- Adventurer’s Experience is the little brother of Hero’s Wit. This gives you 5,000 XP when used.
