The winter event is approaching in the action game For Honor and brings a new 2v2 melee mode, the Ice Melee.
It will be freezing cold this winter, as the frost winds blow in For Honor. Starting from December 21, you can participate in the Frost Winds event, where a new game mode awaits you with the Ice Melee. It is a 2v2 melee mode that takes place on thin ice.
Thin Ice and Rewards
While you fight each other, you must pay attention to where you step. Because the ice can give way at any moment and bring you an ignoble end.
As part of the Frost Winds event, it is possible to unlock winter rewards. These include combat outfits, new weapons, mood effects, emotes, and much more. You can earn these items not only by proving yourself in the Ice Melee. Every game mode will grant you rewards during the event period.
Get the winter package
The Frost Winds event runs until January 4, 2018. Starting December 28, a package containing all winter-specific items will also be available. The contents of the package change dynamically based on the items you possess. A new video shows you how the Ice Melee works in For Honor.
Recently, dedicated servers for the action game For Honor were tested, which will be introduced next year as part of a new online infrastructure.
