We are currently looking for a (Junior) Video Editor for our Munich office
Our video team reaches hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic gamers every day with its YouTube channel and Twitch channel. We are looking to further expand this area and need your active support.
That’s why we are looking for a Video Editor (Junior) (m/f/d) to strengthen our video content team starting July 1, 2022.
As a valuable team member of one of Germany’s largest video game websites, you will play a crucial role in advancing the channels further and help determine the direction we develop – and of course, the direction you take.
As a Junior Editor, you will be part of a creative, versatile, talented, and ambitious team that aims to inform and entertain gamers with videos and live content every day.
What you can look forward to:
- You research, write, and create video contributions for our YouTube channel
- You will also appear on camera in our diverse video formats or live streams
- You can combine your fascination for video games and your creativity in your tasks
- You can share topics that excite you with a large audience
- You network with the industry and communities, for example at events like gamescom, or independently reach out to well-known content creators for interviews
What we look forward to:
- You have experience in the video field (editorial video experience, your own video channels) or have already worked editorially in the text area
- You have a good understanding of the peculiarities and requirements of the YouTube platform and can use your enthusiasm for the platform to make content interesting for others
- You can analyze and summarize the stories behind current events surrounding games while also having a good general knowledge of current blockbusters as well as classics in video game history
- You are fluent in both German and English, spoken and written
- You enjoy working in a team but can also independently develop topics and content
- You are interested in many aspects of video production and want to broaden your horizons
- You have an understanding of careful journalistic processing of topics and have the ability to convey highly complex subjects in a clear and entertaining manner
