The gamescom 2024 is just around the corner and will open its doors again with the Opening Night Live. In addition to numerous new announcements, the gamescom awards 2024 will also take place this year. You can find all the details about the award here.
What is the gamescom award? The award this year honors winners in a total of 15 categories, which are divided into the three main groups Art, Platform, and Global.
Fans and attendees will decide together with an expert jury about the winners. The voting begins on Wednesday, August 21st and ends on Thursday, August 22nd at 2 p.m. Fans and attendees can vote for their favorites in the categories Best of Show Floor
and Best Trailer / Announcement

When will the winners be announced? The winners will be announced on the Friday of gamescom, August 23rd, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the gamescom studio hosted by IGN in Hall 7. However, the winner of the sustainability award category will be awarded during the Opening Night Live.

? This award recognizes an organization for its special commitment to climate and environmental protection. The evaluation includes how the organization addresses topics such as carbon footprint and emission reductions. All exhibitors at gamescom 2024 can apply for this category free of charge.
