A gamer had to pass the time in the car while waiting for his wife at the doctor. His solution was simple: play Diablo 4 in the car. He uses a trick for that.
A gamer simply wanted to kill some demons and came up with the clever idea of playing Diablo 4 in the car with his Chromebook. Normally, a Chromebook is significantly too weak and far below the system requirements for Diablo 4. He posts a picture of his action on Reddit. Here you can see how the gamer is sitting in the car, armed with an Xbox controller and Chromebook.
But thanks to activated Xbox Remote Play, he was able to play a few rounds of Diablo 4 in the car without any problem.
Long hours on the train can also be bridged with Diablo 4 – if the German railway’s network cooperates.
Play Diablo 4 in the car thanks to Remote Play
How does the trick work? At home, he started his Xbox Series X/S and lets Diablo 4 run there. Thanks to Remote Play, he can then access his Xbox remotely. He streams the game from his Xbox at home directly to his Chromebook. Of course, a fast and stable internet connection is a prerequisite for this. Without internet, neither streaming nor Diablo 4 would work. Because you cannot play Diablo 4 offline.
Does it work for us too? Yes, you can also use Xbox Remote Play without any problems. Theoretically, you could start your Xbox Series X with Diablo 4 in the morning and then play Diablo 4 on your phone on the way to work in the subway. In practice, however, your internet connection may cause issues.
By the way, it also works with the PS4 or PS5. Here the service is called PS Remote Play. You then stream your PlayStation console to your phone or tablet and can also play Diablo 4. Again, a stable internet connection is a strict prerequisite.
