In June 2025, the last episode of Game Two was released on ZDFneo. Now the team announces changes for the future.
What is going on with Game Two? Already in June 2024, an end of the gaming show Game Two was foreseeable, at least on the television channel ZDFneo. The show, which discussed current gaming topics every week, was likely too niche for the television channel and Game Two had to look for an alternative.
The consequence: The team around Game Two had to shrink, and in the future, Game Two wants to finance itself through memberships of the Rocket Beans Supporters Club. In a YouTube video, the most pressing questions from the community about the future of Game Two were answered.
“We still have to clarify everything completely”
Who is the new team? The new team of Game Two will consist of Esther, Kuro, John, Markus, and Jasper in the future. Two members are leaving the new team: Trant and Tim.
Trant will be producing freelance content in the future, which will not only deal with gaming topics. He wants to exchange ideas with various people in his content. He is not yet sure where the future will take him.
Tim stays with Beans Entertainment, but will no longer actively participate in Game Two. He wants to take on only a supportive role.
Regarding future content, Markus says: “We still have to clarify everything completely.” Old formats are to be maintained, but how the structure will be is still unclear.
First, however, there will be a summer break until after Gamescom 2025; by September at the latest, there will be two videos per week on the YouTube channel. During the summer break, there will only be one video per week at 12 noon, as usual.
Finally, Kuro addresses the community with a few words: “Even though this is a bit unfortunate and sad, we are still very hopeful and looking forward and are really excited. (…) We are attacking, we are sprinting forward, and we will rebuild Game Two into something really cool.” (Source: YouTube).
What the future holds for Game Two remains to be seen; however, by September at the latest, we will know more. Besides Game Two, DoktorFroid was also one of the gaming shows by YouTubers. They recently had to announce a big change, as the team split from the last founding member.
