For Find Your Next Game gamescom 2025, we are planning the biggest and most spectacular livestream program in our history. While much is still secret, we can already give you a small taste.
From August 19 at 7:30 PM to August 24 at 6:30 PM, we have put together around 45 hours of live programming for Find Your Next Game from gamescom 2025. You can follow it either live on-site in Hall 10.1 or, of course, via stream on GameStar.de, our Twitch channel and even on our own FYNG page on Steam.
Of course, much is still secret regarding what will happen on our big show stage, but we can and want to reveal a few highlights now.
Two Major Premiere Shows
It all starts on Tuesday at 7:30 PM with the broadcast of the Opening Night Live. Look forward to plenty of world premieres, appropriately commented on enthusiastically or critically by Michi and Jules from GameStar. In addition, we will usher in Maurice, Felix, as well as the editors from GameStar, GamePro, and MeinMMO for the subsequent analysis in the sacred ONL halls until we get thrown out.
Our personal program highlight is of course our big FYNG gamescom Show on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to approximately 7:45 PM. Look forward to over 40 games that you have never seen before, including several world premieres. As always, we have editorially put together the show, as always the focus is mainly on gameplay, and, as always, it will be moderated by AK and Maurice.
Also, look forward to plenty of surprises… and of course to a comeback of our self-crocheted FYNG puppets.
A gamescom Week Full of Highlights
Besides the shows, we also want to give you the feeling of being live at the biggest gaming fair in the world throughout the rest of the week – but as a VIP with the best contacts.
At the heart of it are the games: We will show them to you, we will discuss them, we will talk to the developers, and we will play them live. And this also applies to many titles that are still secret and will be announced later.

We are especially proud of the developer prominence that has already announced its attendance:
- The legendary (and legendary funny) head of Double Fine, Tim Schafer, will visit us on Wednesday at 3:30 PM.
- For Anno 117, the Creative Director Manuel Reinher will visit us on Thursday at 11:30 AM and answer your and our questions for over an hour.
- Leading figures from CD Projekt, Owlcat, and Obsidian will discuss on Friday at 12:00 PM what makes a good role-playing game.
- But not only the big studios, we have also invited talented indie developers, including the creators of Solarpunk, Industria 2, and Planet Defense Cannon Commander.
Of course, a fair program should not only inform but also provide entertainment, which is why we have invited numerous star guests for expert discussions and to have fun together:
- The YouTube comedy stars from Viva La Dirt League have to prove live how well they can voice their own game.
- Table tennis superstar Timo Boll will take part in our Bollympics. And yes, we are very proud of this top gag.
- Additionally, we of course welcome many friends from the YouTube scene – including Jessirocks, Writing Bull, Steinwallen, Dennis Werth, Marco from Nerdkultur, and many more.
You can see: you shouldn’t miss as little as possible. If life gets in the way, it’s annoying but bearable.
Because of course we will upload a large part of our gamescom program as on-demand videos on our websites, our GameStar YouTube channel, and on GameStar Talk. We are incredibly excited for gamescom. And of course also for you! Now we just need to put together a few last puzzle pieces.
