Guild Wars 2 was chosen by 10 percent of the voting players, thus securing 5th place in our selection for the best crafting system. This colorful online role-playing game from ArenaNet not only has an interesting hybrid combat system, but it also shines in crafting.
Guild Wars 2 – Joyful Crafting Switch
In Guild Wars 2, you have a classic crafting system where you create items or materials from resources and according to a recipe. There are nine different professions, all of which produce something. You can gather resources at any time; there are no special gathering professions. The individual professions in Guild Wars 2 are:
- Chef: Food and dyes
- Jeweler: Amulets, rings, gems
- Constructor: Polearms and potions
- Leatherworker: Medium armor and bags
- Armorsmith: Heavy armor and bags
- Tailor: Light armor and bags
- Writer: Guild decor

You can usually learn and practice two professions and even four with a special item. However, you can change your profession anytime for in-game currency. Progress in the old job is not lost.
