Yesterday, the Street Fighter 6 demo was unexpectedly announced during Capcom’s showcase. Playstation players can start playing now on PS4 and PS5. All others will have to wait a little longer.
Capcom held a major “Street Fighter” showcase on April 20, 2023, providing insights into the latest game in the renowned series: Street Fighter 6.
The upcoming game will feature three different modes: Fighting Ground, Battle Hub, and World Tour. Additionally, players can create their own avatar to start the story. Some players in the beta have already taken advantage of this to create quirky fighters.
Now players have the chance to test Street Fighter 6 again through the demo. However, not every platform can start the game directly.

From now on, Playstation players can play the Street Fighter 6 demo
When is the demo available? Players already have access to the demo via the PlayStation Store. In the first week, it will only be playable on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5.
All other players will have to wait a bit longer. The demo can be played on Steam and in the Xbox Games Store starting April 26 at 9:00 AM (CEST).

The demo will give you a small insight into the game with the following content:
- Beginning of the World Tour
- Some selected contents in the Fighting Ground
- Avatar creation
- Playable stages: Genbu Temple, Training Room
Playable characters in the demo will include your created avatar, Luke, and Ryu.
You can also continue to use the avatar you created in the demo in the full version of Street Fighter 6, with one condition: you must play on the same platform. Also, you must not delete the save data, as it is needed for the transfer.
However, you will not be able to use online functions in the demo, and the Battle Hub is not included. Additionally, some menu functions in the demo are restricted.
When is the release of Street Fighter 6? The latest installment of the Capcom fighting game series will be released on June 2, 2023. You can already preorder the game through various platforms: the Playstation Store, Xbox Games Store, and Steam.
You can also find a large release list of new MMOs and multiplayer games that are set to come out this year.
