IDC/Games and the developer studio Gamemag bring the very successful MMORPG Weapons of Mythology – New Age to the West on Playstation 4.
The free-to-play MMO will be released for both PC and Xbox One as well as Playstation 4. A first beta is planned for September. The online game will also be showcased at gamescom. It will be released in the fourth quarter of this year in the languages English, German, Spanish, French, Polish, and Italian.
The battle for a powerful artifact!
In Weapons of Mythology – New Age, PvE and PvP elements are intertwined. You not only pursue a story that guides you through a large game area via quests, but you also fight together with your guild supported by powerful pets in dangerous dungeons or compete against other players in PvP battlegrounds. The story takes place during the Chu-Han Civil War, into which the two opposing clans Zhan and Jie are drawn. You join one of the factions and fight for a valuable artifact of the ancestors.
However, it is precisely this war that the sinister Morkans take advantage of to escape from the underworld and plunge the land into chaos. Only the owner of the powerful relic can save the world!
Guilds, MOBA, and Boss Enemies
Weapons of Mythology – New Age offers a combat system in which you can combine different artifacts to unlock special skills. Pets play as much of a role as a guild system, through which members receive exclusive guild skills and can participate in guild wars. The PvP battlefield offers elements of MOBAs and a ranked ladder system. In the dungeons, many challenges await you, including dangerous boss enemies that you must defeat as a team.
