In Fortnite: Battle Royale the Pirate Fever Challenge is running only until April 16th. There are cool cosmetics like gliders and an epic emote that you can easily earn.
What is this challenge? The challenges for the Pirate Fever have been active in Fortnite for a few days now. But they only run until April 16th.
For the tasks, you need to:
- Visit pirate camps
- Dug up treasures
- Reach the top 10 in team matches
- Fire yourself from cannons
What rewards are there? The coolest reward is an epic emote where your character opens a chest that is then sealed again by an octopus.
In addition, there is a glider, a spray pattern, a banner, and experience points.
This is how you easily complete the Pirate Fever tasks
Here we show you all tasks and give tips on how to solve them. In just a few hours, you should have all the goals completed.
If you complete all 4 tasks, you will be rewarded with the epic emote that we embedded above as a video.
Visit 10 pirate camps in different matches
This is how you complete the task: In each match, you can visit one pirate camp for this task. So you need to play at least 10 rounds for that.
You can visit the camps multiple times. So you can land at Lazy Lagoon each time and visit the camp there.
It’s best to combine this challenge with firing yourself from cannons in 5 different matches.
Here are the pirate camps:
- West of Lazy Lagoon
- Southwest of the volcano
- Southwest of Pleasant Park
- In the snow biome by the frozen lake
- On the hill southwest of Salty Springs
- At the bridge that connects the desert and grass biomes
- The abandoned house between Loot Lake and Dusty Divot

Search for buried treasures
This is how you complete the task: Fortnite wants you to go treasure hunting. If you find a treasure map in the game, a special location will be shown to you on the map. Clearly recognizable by a bright beam and arrows on the screen.
Go there and swing your harvesting tool at the marked X. This will dig up a chest that contains legendary loot. You need to do this once.

Reach the top 10 in team matches with a friend
This is how you complete the task: For this task, you need to join matches together with a friend from your friends list and be among the last 10 remaining players.

This is how you complete the task: Here, it makes sense to combine the challenge with the one for visiting pirate camps. If you’re already visiting a pirate camp, then fire yourself from a cannon there.
