Players can unlock a special version of the famous cube in Fortnite: Battle Royale – as a back bling! However, they need to log in today on November 5th and complete the challenges. The cube itself exploded during the event on Sunday, November 4th.
The giant cube has broken down into its components: With a spectacular live sequence, the cube dissolved and pulled players into a parallel dimension, where they interacted with butterflies.
To ensure the cube stays in the players’ memory for a long time, you can now unlock a miniature version as a backpack, which Epic affectionately named Lil’ Kevin. But you need to hurry!
What is the timeframe to unlock the cube backpack? To have a chance at getting the back bling, you need to log in to the game and do so by tonight, November 5th, at 7:00 PM!
If you logged in before this deadline, you have until Sunday, November 11th, at 7:00 PM to complete the tasks for the cube.
What do I need to do for the cube backpack? You won’t get the backpack for free; you have to earn it. The tasks are, however, manageable for every player:
- Complete 15 matches in Fortnite: Battle Royale
- Earn 5,000 experience points (this should be easily completed during the first step)
- Eliminate 500 opponents (which mode you do this in is up to you)
Once you have completed all the challenges, the back bling will be automatically unlocked in your locker. Even though the cube doesn’t closely resemble the original, consider it a memento of the object that has accompanied Fortnite: Battle Royale for the longest time!
The cube backpack is not the only new item coming this week. A heavy assault rifle has also been announced.
