Update 15:10: After the item shop reset at 15:00, the Operation: Snowdown challenges are now available with 16 tasks that reward you with festive items. The Battle Bus has also been festively decorated.
When could the Winterfest event start? The Winterfest 2020 could start today, December 18. It is suspected that it will start at 15:00 German time.
The suspicion comes from the fact that past Winterfests took place around this date. The biggest hint, however, is the item shop – it will be updated in just a few hours at exactly 15:00 and could also kick off the Winterfest.
But keep in mind that this is not officially confirmed yet. MeinMMO will update the article for you as soon as there is new information.
What can we expect from the Christmas event?
Are there already hints about the content of the event? Some data miners were able to find data from the game related to the Winterfest. Challenges and some rewards that we will likely receive were found.

So far, 19 tasks from the Operation: Snowdown series have been found that will likely accompany you through the event. The leaked challenges were shared on Twitter:
Will there be rewards again?
This was found: In addition to the challenges, data miners found some skins, back accessories, pickaxes, and emotes related to Christmas.
So far, it is unclear whether these items will appear in the item shop or be part of the free rewards of the Winterfest. We may still have to wait until the Winterfest starts to see all the content.
