In Fortnite, “Battle Pass” holders once again have the opportunity to create an item to their liking. However, players will need Omnichips for this. How to obtain them best and what you can do with them is explained here on MeinMMO.
What are Omnichips? This new currency consists of futuristic chips that you need to unlock additional looks for newer Omniknives. The Omniknife is a pickaxe for “Battle Pass” holders in the new Season 2, which can be customized at will.
Epic Games has provided you with a whole range of blades, the necessary protection for your hands, various colors, and the associated sound when striking. However, you won’t earn the required chips for customization like previous collectibles from chests, but you will need to earn them.

Where do I get them? Once you have gained access to this accessory with the new Battle Pass, you will receive a new window labeled “Omniblade” in your quest tabs.
This tab contains Omniblade bonus objectives. Additionally, you will receive new quests every few weeks to earn more Omnichips to unlock every style of your programmable sword. The tasks are straightforward and require you to collect these chips at selected POIs. Once you have collected them, the number you earned will be credited to your account as chips.
Can I unlock all styles? As in previous seasons that Fortnite has held, “Battle Pass” holders have had the chance to create a skin or an item themselves. In doing so, players had the opportunity to unlock all customization options.
Provided that you have completed all the important tasks relating to the item or purchased them with the necessary earned currency.
