For Fortnite: Battle Royale, the patch notes for the major update 7.0 are known. They are packed with information about new content coming to the servers in Season 7.
Fortnite is currently under maintenance, but the patch notes for update 7.0 are already known. They contain information about planes, new areas, items, the creative mode, and new content in PvE.
The features of patch 7.0 in PvP
New vehicle – Plane: The X-4 Stormwing biplane can now be found in expedition outposts. The aircraft accommodates one pilot and 4 passengers on the wings. The plane is armed with a machine gun with unlimited ammunition. However, the MG can overheat.
Balloons: You can now use balloons along with weapons. This makes them less useless, but you now only have 10 balloons in a stack.
Removed weapons and items: The following weapons and items have been removed from the game:
- Shadow Stones
- Port-a-Fort
- Freezer
- Sticky Grenade
- Double-Barrel Shotgun
- Shockwave Grenade
New places: The map has been thoroughly redesigned in Season 7:
- The Iceberg is included as a new biome
- Frosty Flights as a new location
- Polar Peak as a new location
- Happy Hamlet as a new location
- In addition, numerous unnamed locations with attractions
New map features: The map will receive the following new functions and features:
- On icy surfaces, you can slide around
- The zip lines are permanently installed at certain locations and allow for quick location changes. You can act normally while using them.
New cosmetic items – Paints: With these items from the Battle Pass, you can give weapons and items in the game a unique look.
New tournament – Explorer Pop-Up Cup: Here, you must collect a maximum of 700/500/300 pieces of wood, stone, and iron. After kills, you receive resources and health points, and you can gather materials 40 percent faster.
New mode – Creative mode: Those who have the Battle Pass can start in this mode today, while others can do so from December 13. In the creative mode, you receive four islands that you can fill with items and features as you wish. You can build mini-games or set up film sets for your own works.
You can also open custom servers and keep them active for four hours. This allows for private rounds of Fortnite.
The patch highlights of update 7.0 in PvE
New hero: Steel-Wool-Anthony is a mythic explorer variant of a cavalry fighter. You will obtain him through the new Bru-Tal quest line.
New hero: The legendary Shock Trooper version Carlos from Steel Wool can be obtained from the Bru-Tal Act 2 quest line.
New weapon: The Sniper Rifle Icebite is back in the weekly shop. It is a rifle for medium to long distances. It has good damage values and can be fired quickly. It will be in the shop from December 5 to December 12.
Bru-Tal Act 3: The final act of the campaign “Hold the Position and Fight” includes:
- 20 new quests
- 2 new zones
- A reward for everyone who completes the campaign by the end of 2018
Contents for Season 7: Hydraulic weapons, storm zone heroes, raider weapons, and raider heroes are permanently in the core content of Loot Llamas. Mutant Storm mission alarms occur about 10 times per 24-hour period, and you receive snowflake tickets and additional XP. In addition, legendary troll treasure llamas are available in the lama piñata shop for 1,000 snowflakes.
