In Fortnite: Battle Royale a first trailer for the new Season 7 has appeared. However, according to Epic, it is supposed to be a fake.
What does the trailer show? A supposed trailer for Season 7 recently appeared on Reddit. It features the robot A.I.M who is searching for victims with its target scanner. Next, you see the cowgirl Calamity, who is obviously having fun with the llama bell.
But then the two new wizard skins appear and use their magic to make it snow. Thus, Season 7 begins with a snowy map.
Fake or the Truth?
What’s behind the trailer? A discussion quickly broke out on Reddit about the authenticity of the video clip. Many players thought it was a forgery, but they agreed that the animations looked very good and that someone put a lot of work into it.
This is what Epic says about the trailer: Meanwhile, Epic has confirmed that the trailer shown is indeed not officially from the developers. Rather, it is a well-made fan trailer.
What do we really know about Season 7?
These are the known facts about Season 7: There isn’t much concrete information available about the next season yet. We only know that:
- A iceberg is approaching the island.
- On the iceberg stands a largely frozen castle
- The robot A.I.M may come out of the ice
- A leak suggests that Tilted Towers will be destroyed by bots.
This has recently changed on the iceberg: The iceberg is steadily approaching, and recently the lights have come on in the castle on it. Someone seems to be living in there. Are they the robots from the A.I.M series? Or the ice-themed Viking skins Ragnarök and Valkyrie?
We will probably learn more over the course of the week, as Season 7 could hopefully start on Friday.
Update: While there is still no official trailer, at least a teaser for Season 7 has appeared.
