The new patch for Fortnite: Battle Royale has revealed another wave of skins for the shop. This includes more Halloween outfits as well as a new starter pack.
Halloween is almost over: In the real world, it’s already been Halloween, but in Fortnite, the spooky celebration lasts a bit longer. After all, the Zombie Mode is still running for a while, and the new skins still have a spooky look.
These skins will soon be seen in the shop
The outfits: From patch 6.21, data miners pulled images of a proud 9 new skins. Here they are:
- Shogun (Legendary): Again a Samurai skin, but this time it’s a really nasty one. The Shogun is a black and gold Samurai with intricate armor and a demon face as a helmet mask. So to speak, the Halloween version of the normal Samurai. The Shogun is only male; perhaps a female version will come with the next patch.
- Flapjackie (Epic): A strange skin that features a woman with huge bunny ears as a hood.
- Growler (Epic): Another hood skin, this time with a Pitbull look.
- Spooky Team Leader (Epic): The Halloween version of the Chief Cuddly Officer. She is an even more rancid cuddly bear with green-black stripes.
- Yew-Haw (Epic): The female version of the llama rider skin “Saddled”.
- Mayhem (Rare): This skin is one of the outfits inspired by Borderlands and other post-apocalyptic games. It features a woman with a gas mask and post-apocalyptic punk look. And the skin is only rare, meaning it can be had for around 8 Euros.
- Ruckus (Rare): This skin shows a crazy guy with a mask. This could be a reference to games like Borderlands or Rage.
- Instinct (Rare): A masked elite soldier.
- Reflex (Rare): The male version of Instinct.
These are the back blings: Along with the outfits, there’s again a wave of additional new back pieces. The black cube with the eyes is called “Lil Kev” and is a clear reference to the nickname of the cube, which was called Kevin on Reddit:
These are the new gliders: The following gliders will also be available soon:
- Junkjet (Epic): A cobbled together glider.
- Kabuto (Rare): The Samurai glider for Shogun.
- Pivot (Rare): A generic glider.
- Poof Parasail (Rare): Another strange glider.
These are the new pickaxes: These pickaxes should soon be in the shop:
- Splinterstrike (Rare): The pickaxe for the post-apocalypse.
- Jawblade (Rare): A cool axe for the Samurai.
- Jackspammer (Uncommon): An axe with a tool.
- Angular Axe (Uncommon): An unremarkable axe.
When exactly these skins will come to the Fortnite shop is unfortunately still unknown.
