When does the event start? The event “Super Showdown” is set to take place on August 2nd at 8:30 PM German time. However, doors are expected to open at 8:00 PM, giving fans enough time to log in and prepare.
What happens at the event? A tentacle monster seems to threaten reality (Source: x.com), and the superheroes from Chapter 6 Season 3 need to save the island with the help of Jonesy. Since there are no event files in the current version of Fortnite, we can’t tell you exactly what will happen at the event yet. We’ll have to wait.

How can I participate? As usual, Epic Games will activate a dedicated mode for the live event in which you can queue up to watch the spectacle. This is not currently active but should be unlocked a few hours before the start of the event.
Are there rewards? In the past, Epic Games has often distributed souvenirs in the form of sprays or loading screens when players participated in a live event. This seems likely here as well, but we can’t make any promises yet – stay tuned.
Can I play after the event? Yes, you can. Chapter 6 Season 3 does not end after the live event concludes. There won’t be a Server Down. That is expected to take place a few days later in the week of August 7th. We will provide you with all the information on this.
When does Chapter 6 Season 3 end? Officially, Chapter 6 Season 3 is set to end on August 7th, in the early morning hours. This is relatively unusual, as Epic Games often sets a Tuesday or Saturday as the start time for its latest seasons.
The studio could thus move the start time either forward or backward, depending on what Epic Games has planned. Most likely, the developers will also announce the start time at the end of the live event to inform their fans.
