Mini-Game 1: Hide and Seek (2-4 Players)
Hide and seek? Sounds trivial and boring? Not at all!
This is how the mini-game “Hide and Seek” works: Choose a larger city like Tilted Towers, Pleasant Park, or Retail Row. The seeker gives the other players 1-5 minutes to hide.
The seeker must now find all players. Those who are found can be shot down and switch to the seeker’s team. Once all hiding spots have been found, the next round starts.
The first person found is the seeker in the next round (you can of course change the criteria).
This way, you get to know the cities better: Hiding spots will also help you when things get serious again.
Mini-Game 2: Destruction Derby (2-4 Players)
Sounds hard? It is! At the same time, it’s a huge amount of fun. The player with the most stylish kills wins. What this mode could look like in reality is clearly illustrated in the following video.

This is how “Destruction Derby” works in Fortnite: Each player needs a golf cart for the Destruction Derby. You can find these in various locations on the map.
Now, you build an arena high above the map together. Equip the arena with bounce pads and holes to increase the difficulty.
Your goal now is to throw your opponents out of the arena using only your carts. It’s a great fun! The last player remaining on the platform is the winner!
Mini-Game 3: Capture the Flag (2-4 Players)
This is how you play Capture the Flag in Fortnite: In this game mode, you form teams of 1v1 or 2v2. Since there are no flags in Fortnite: Battle Royale, choose any item to serve as a flag (for example, the Port-a-Fort).
Make sure that both teams have roughly the same conditions in terms of materials and weapons. The goal now is to steal the Port-a-Fort from the enemy base and bring it to your own base.
Where you position your base on the map is up to you. You can also individually determine how you build your base. Do you want to place traps and bounce pads around your flag? Have fun!
Mini-Game 4: Humans vs. Zombies (2-4 Players)
This is how you play Humans vs. Zombies in Fortnite: This cool mini-game can be played in different teams. Whether 1v3 or 2v2 is completely up to you. The showdown of human versus undead follows fixed rules:
- Depending on the number of living players, the undead have 50HP, 40HP, or 30HP with three players. Likewise, humans only have a hand cannon available.
- Zombies have full health, their pickaxe, and a jetpack.
Build a gigantic amusement park somewhere that will serve as the arena. Generally, humans are only allowed to edit wooden structures, while zombies can destroy them. Interaction with stone and metal is not allowed.
Every human killed by a zombie switches sides and can now also wreak havoc as an undead. The last living human wins.
Mini-Game 5: Sniper Shoot-Out (2-4 Players)
This is how you play Sniper Shoot-Out in Fortnite: Build a gigantic dome that is closed on all sides. Place bounce pads and ramps everywhere to fly around as much as possible. The goal of the game? Eliminate opponents only with a sniper rifle from the hip.
