Fortnite: Start and Duration of the Server Down
Server Down in the morning – What you need to know: Epic Games has announced its server down for Fortnite and set it for 10:00 AM German time. The matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before the servers shut down – so you won’t be able to start any new rounds during this time.
When will the servers be back online? This depends on the size and scope of the update. If there are no complications, you can expect a two-hour downtime. However, it could also be that the server down is resolved around 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM. We will keep you updated in that case.
When will the patch notes come? Epic Games is currently only sporadically releasing its patch notes for the “Battle Royale” mode. If they are available, they will only be released after the downtime. We will list the patch notes for you as soon as Epic Games makes them available.
