Fortnite has taken the servers offline for the start of the new “Simpsons” season update. The maintenance brings a new episode to the island along with a new Battle Pass, a new map, weapons, and much more. Good evening everyone and welcome to our live ticker for the downtime of the Simpsons Season. Expect the servers to be down until at least 10 PM. Until then, you cannot log in or start matches (Source: x.com).
In the meantime, we will follow the downtime and provide you with the most important information about the new season here.
What happens during the server downtime? The servers will be taken offline. During this time, you cannot play Fortnite.
When does the server downtime in Fortnite start? The servers were taken offline on November 1, 2025, at 4:30 PM.
When can I play Fortnite again? Since this is a major update for the start of a new season, the downtime will last a few hours. Complications could also extend the duration – so stay tuned and check our ticker how the current server status looks. According to leakers, you should be able to log in again around 10 PM if everything goes as planned.
When will the patch notes be released? The patch notes will be published as soon as the servers have been taken offline. However, we have already compiled the most important information you should know about the Simpsons:

What can I expect with the upcoming update? With the upcoming update, the new season of the Simpsons will be released. This season focuses on the yellow beings from Springfield. The dark presence wanted to engulf reality, but suddenly, the aliens from the Simpsons merged reality with the Simpsons.
You can expect a completely new map designed after the likeness of the city “Springfield”. Iconic POIs from the series like Moe’s Bar can be found, and in terms of design, everything has been kept in a cel-shading style – a comic look.
Lastly, there are also new skins in the Battle Pass, including originals from Epic Games that have been designed in the style of the Simpsons. Besides that, there are many familiar faces from the series that you can earn over the days.
