In Fortnite: Battle Royale, there is the Road Trip challenge in Season 5. It runs like the Blockbuster Challenge from Season 4. Each week, there is a title image with a hint for a hidden Battle Star.
Road Trip instead of Blockbuster: Those who played the Blockbuster Challenge from Season 4 already know. For everyone else, here’s the explanation again: The Road Trip Challenge in Season 5 rewards you with a new loading screen for completing all seven individual challenges of any weekly challenge.
The images not only tell an exciting new story, presumably revolving around the arrival of the new character Drift. Each image also contains a hint for a Battle Star. If you find the star, you’ll earn an extra tier in the Season 5 Battle Pass.
Complete all challenges from Week 1 of Season 5 to unlock bonus screen
The 1st bonus image: If you complete the current challenges for Season 5 Week 1, you will receive the first of the seven Road Trip loading screens. How to optimally complete the challenges can be found here in our Challenge Guide for Week 1 of Season 5. However, you can also complete other weekly tasks later in the season. It is sufficient if you fully complete any one week.
What can be seen in the image? The first bonus image of Season 5 shows an unusually harmonious scene. As already known from the Season 5 Cinematic, the young graffiti artist Drift was suddenly sucked into the Fortnite world while spray painting the Durr Burger in our world. There, he is immediately welcomed into a team by various funny characters, including the famous Paint Bomber and Psycho Cuddle Team Leader.
But what is even more interesting is what Rex is looking at in the picture on the map.

Where is the star? This time, the star is visible as a doodle on the map that the player in the Rex costume is intently looking at. And it’s exactly on the umbrella on the map! It’s obviously the landmark on the map that looks like an umbrella.
Off to the umbrella! The umbrella is only visible from the air or fully on the map and is located at coordinates E3.
Warning, unlock everything first! But before you run there and might get shot by a John Wick in the search, you should first ensure that you have indeed unlocked the title image. The bonus star will only appear if you have actually completed the first Road Trip Challenge.
