New season, new treasure! Season 5 of Fortnite is here and the new challenges are known. Everything stays the same so far and as always, there’s the weekly treasure hunt. This time, the crucial hint can be found at Risky Reels.
The treasure of Risky Reels – Here’s how to find it!
Off to Risky Reels: At the drive-in theater in the north of the map, you will once again find a cryptic recording. The treasure map shows a kind of tunnel with trees. Fortnite experts know right away where that is. If you head directly to the location of the star, you won’t need to look at the treasure map in Risky Reels.
The true location of the treasure – South of Tomato Town!
Let’s go to the Tomato Tunnel! The tunnel shown is nothing less than the passage between Retail Row and Tomato Town. Here, a tunnel runs under a ridge. Go there or land on the mountain that the tunnel crosses.
Where exactly is the treasure? The treasure is right on the flat spot under the northern tunnel entrance. So, the spot from where you can see the pizza restaurant that once displayed the tomato head. The battle star appears when you get close. Collect it and level up in the Battle Pass!
Beware of Wick: Be careful that none of your teammates takes you out while searching for and retrieving the star! At the beginning of a challenge, other players are often quite tolerant and leave you alone at first. But there are certainly rogues (John Wicks) in every match. So be cautious.
If you finally have the star, you should definitely finish the ongoing match correctly; otherwise, your success may not count. If necessary, just let yourself get taken out. That works as well.
