In week 3 of Season 9 in Fortnite one task is “Stay in a Quad Crasher in the air for 3 seconds.” We will show you how to solve the challenge easily.
What kind of task is this? Week 3 of Season 9 started today, on May 23, in Fortnite. You now have 7 new challenges that you can solve. As a reward, cosmetic items, XP, or V-Bucks await you in the Battle Pass.
One task revolves around tricks with vehicles. We will show you how to solve them quickly and easily.
Quad Crasher in Fortnite – Stay in the air
The first of the free tasks in week 3 is divided into three phases.
In Phase 1, you need to perform a trick with the Driftboard. This is super simple. Just grab a Driftboard, charge the boost, jump over a small hill into the air, and spin around. Voilà, trick performed.
In Phase 2, you need to stay in the air with the Quad Crasher for at least 3 seconds.
Here’s how to complete the task: One of the easiest ways to complete this task is to use geysers. You can find them all over the map, and they will blast you straight up when you drive over them. Drive extremely slowly, at walking pace, to keep yourself above the geyser. You can find a map with geysers in Fortnite here.
In the video, YouTuber DiTech shows what it can look like:
If you don’t feel like looking for a geyser on the Fortnite map, just drive up a large mountain with the Quad Crasher. It’s best to have lots of resources in your inventory.
Once on the mountain, build a huge ramp using stair elements and cruise up it with the Quad Crasher. Just before you reach the end of the ramp, use the boost to fly as long as possible.
The video from Silver Comet Gaming shows you which mountain is suitable for such a ramp and what the stunt looks like.
