What is happening today in Fortnite? Epic Games is slowly preparing Fortnite for the Fortnitemares event 2021. Many new skins, map changes, and possibly one or two new weapons are expected. Hypex, a well-known leaker from the Fortnite scene, already revealed with a Twitter post that the long-awaited Halloween event is coming with update 18.20.

Fortnite servers go down – when and for how long?
Downtime in the morning: The servers will be shut down at 10 AM our time to roll out update 18.20. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes prior, so you won’t be able to play after 9:30 AM.
When can you play again? The servers will be offline for a full hour and playing will not be possible. The downtime is expected to last between 30 minutes and 2 hours. This has been shown by the updates of the past weeks.
Of course, there can always be technical problems and delays during such work. If complications arise, we will report on them.
When will the patch notes be released? As usual, Epic Games is unlikely to publish patch notes regarding the update. Therefore, the community is forced to go on a treasure hunt to uncover changes.

A new Raven skin and a customizable skin series will be awaiting you in the next few days. With the new skin series, you can now design your own skin with 10,000 options. Many masks will also be available to adorn your skin.
