Patch Notes for Rocket Racing
New Tracks: Rocket Racing brings you five new tracks where you can show who the fastest racer is. The following are known:
- Obsidian: The veins of this fiery paradise serve as cylindrical passages. (Difficulty level: Beginner. The track unlocks in ranked races at Bronze I.)
- Meerschaumbucht: Want to cool off from all the heat? Enjoy a fresh breeze on your skin as you relax through the soothing landscape. (Difficulty level: Beginner. The track unlocks in ranked races at Bronze I.)
- Schädelfels Island: Beware of the serpentine paths! Inside, you drift through a fiery inferno, outside through a cool beach paradise. (Difficulty level: Beginner. The track unlocks in ranked races at Silver I.)
- Double Flames Island: On this island, not far from Inferno Island, the track splits multiple times. (Difficulty level: Advanced. The track unlocks in ranked races at Gold I.)
- Blue Grotto: Drive, drift, and fly through some of Inferno Island’s most popular tourist attractions. (Difficulty level: Advanced. The track unlocks in ranked races at Gold I.)
In addition to these tracks, there are two more from 404 Creative:
- Casual Lagoon: Ideal for a breather. But be careful! Don’t rest too much. (Difficulty level: Beginner. The track unlocks in ranked races at Silver I.)
- Basalt Construction: You’ll need good reflexes for the surprising turns on the way to the finish line! (Difficulty level: Expert. The track unlocks in ranked races at Platinum I.)
New Mode – Casual Races: Fortnite brings a new mode “Casual Races” for Rocket Racing. In this mode, you can compete against players at a relaxed pace without losing ranking.
Important Improvements and Adjustments
- General
- When falling, the jetpacks now provide at least 30% lift when activated.
- Weekly “Inferno Island” missions have been added!
- Ranked Rewards
- With the new ranked season, you can race towards new rewards!
- As you climb the leaderboard, you will receive the boost “Shell Explosion”, the trail “Shell Explosion”, and some gold…
- With the new ranked season, you can race towards new rewards!
Bug Fixes
- The appearance of the ghost car in time trials has been corrected.
- A bug has been fixed in time trials where players would spawn under the track while playing Dreistadt or Inclined Curves.
- A bug has been fixed where the default boost was not in the garage when logged into an Epic account that was not used in Rocket League.
- The appearance of the jetpacks on both bodies of the Nissan Fairlady Z has been corrected.
- The color scheme of the Imperator DT5’s body has been corrected.
- The appearance of the Backfire’s body, the wheels of the Nissan Z Performance, the Polygonal Rocket Trail, and the Discotheque Trail have been corrected in the preview in the garage.

What happens during an update? Today, Epic Games is taking down the servers for maintenance. You will not be able to play Fortnite during the downtime, so be prepared.
This time, according to leakers, there will be an Adidas collaboration. New skins are expected to hit the shop, which you can then purchase for V-Bucks. When the downtime begins and what other contents will be released with patch 30.30, you will find out in the upcoming section.
Fortnite: Start and Duration of Server Down
Server Down in the Morning – What You Need to Know: Epic Games has announced its server down for Fortnite and has set it for 10:00 AM German time. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before the servers shut down – so you won’t be able to start any new rounds during that time.
When will the servers be back online? It depends on the size and scope of the update. If there are no complications, you can expect a downtime of about two hours. However, it may also be that the server down doesn’t get resolved until 1 PM or 2 PM. We will keep you informed in that case.
When will the patch notes come out? Epic Games is currently only sporadically releasing its patch notes for the “Battle Royale” mode. If they are available, they will only be released after the downtime. We will list the patch notes as soon as Epic Games publishes them.
What content might be released with update 30.30?
Some info about new collaborations has already leaked, and it is known that the Tesla Cybertruck is set to appear in Fortnite. However, what you can exactly expect has been listed here (via x.com):
