In Fortnite, the servers will go down today, February 22, on all platforms (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance work will be used to upload Update 28.30 to the servers.

Rocket Racing introduces new mode – Time Trials: Rocket Racing has implemented a new mode with Patch 28.30, namely the Time Trials. This mode allows you to race on your favorite tracks, focusing on reaching the finish line as quickly as possible. Collisions are turned off, so you cannot bump into your opponents.
Time Trials missions bring free item: Those who complete the Time Trials missions will receive the track “Sprintspark” and 13 different colors.
Improvements for mobile devices:
- The D-pad has been changed to a touchscreen joystick, allowing for more precise control. You can adjust its sensitivity in the settings.
- The HUD has also been improved for mobile devices.
Important improvements and bug fixes:
- You can now perform air rolls. To do this, hold the left trigger (or the spacebar on PC) while in the air and steer simultaneously to rotate. You can also combine rolls with your jetpacks to fly over the track.
- Various missions have been adjusted so you can complete them in time trials, races, or a mix of both. The mission descriptions have been updated accordingly.
LEGO Fortnite brings various items for fishing: LEGO Fortnite is also getting new items. These include:

Important improvements, bug fixes, and adjustments
GAMEPLAY
- Recipes are now unlocked more consistently in sandbox mode.
- A bug has been fixed where players’ stamina would not replenish.
- Players will no longer spawn inside building foundations, inside snow, or on things they were not on when logging out.
- Friendly villagers who accompany you on your adventure can now jump out of water and no longer get stuck in it.
- Villagers accompanying you into a cave now do not care if it is raining outside.
- Daggers now continuously deal damage when you are among opponents.
- The pivot point of the dynamic foundation has been re-centered, so it is at the center of the foundation. The foundation now rotates and aligns correctly.
STABILITY AND PERFORMANCE
- A problem has been fixed where players could sometimes not rejoin their world.
PHYSICS
- A problem has been fixed where players sometimes could not place components on dynamic foundations until they were moved.
- A bug has been fixed that caused items to sometimes disappear from caves.
- Objects destroyed by physics now drop resources more evenly.
USER INTERFACE
- Various menus now display your outfit portrait in LEGO style correctly.
- A bug has been fixed where players could open the crafting menu while the workbench was being upgraded.
Fortnite Festival brings Lady Gaga: The Season of The Weeknd is over and players can now get a new artist in Season 2 of Fortnite Festival – Lady Gaga. With her comes a skin, many cosmetic items, and songs that you can purchase in the shop.
Improvements and bug fixes:
- Players can now use Jam Loops in the backstage area of the main stage, in creative mode and UEFN experiences, and in UEFN Patchwork.
- The usability of the main stage music library has been improved.
- The scores from Season 1 have been archived and will be viewable in future updates.
- The placements and arrangements for viewing leaderboard scores have been updated.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the use of brilliance to incorrectly end note series.
- General bug fixes and improvements have been made.

What’s happening today in Fortnite? Epic Games is taking down the servers of Chapter 5 Season 1 to upload a new update. According to some teasers from leak sources, Lady Gaga is supposed to come as a new skin in the Festival Pass, and many Lego fans can look forward to the new feature “fishing”.

Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long will they be offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: The servers are expected to be taken down by Epic Games at 10:00 AM German time. Matchmaking will already be disabled 30 minutes prior, so you won’t be able to search for new rounds from 9:30 AM.
When can you play again? This is a larger update. Therefore, it is likely that Epic Games could bring the servers back online at either 12:00 PM or even 1:00 PM. However, this is not confirmed.
When will the patch notes be released? Epic Games usually publishes a short list of patch notes on their website after the update. If that happens, we will list them here in a concise manner.
What content could come with Update 28.30?
