In Fortnite today, on August 8, the servers went down on all platforms (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance works are used to load Update 25.30 onto the servers.

What’s new in Patch 25.20 – Patch Notes
New Weapons:
- Scarecrow Voodoo (only found in cursed Llamas)
- Hollow Purple (only found in cursed Llamas)
New Quests:
- “Break the Curse” quests can be completed to earn free items
COMPETITION NOTES
- Cursed Llamas, Scarecrow Voodoo, and the technique “Hollow Purple” are not available in tournaments (except for the Jujutsu Kaisen Cup).
IMPORTANT BUG FIXES
- A bug has been fixed that caused a reduced render distance since Update V.25.20.
- A bug has been fixed that displayed players their Ranked Battle Royale rank even when they had switched to Ranked No Building.

What’s happening today in Fortnite? Epic Games is shutting down the servers of Chapter 4 Season 3 to upload a new update. According to leakers, this update will bring new skins as well as the collaboration with the anime “Jujutsu Kaisen.” You can find all info and leaks here.

Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long are they offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: The servers are expected to be shut down by Epic Games at 10:00 AM German time. The matchmaking has already been disabled 30 minutes earlier, so you won’t be able to search for new rounds from 9:30 AM onwards.
When can you play again? This is a major update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could restart the servers at 11:00 AM or even at 1:00 PM. However, this is not confirmed.
When do the patch notes come? Epic Games usually releases a short list of patch notes on their page after the update. If that happens, we will list them here briefly and clearly.
What content might be released with Update 25.30?
Epic Games reveals hardly any new information about upcoming content before a new update. Trusted leakers like Shiina have however been keeping an eye on the data that are hidden from regular users and know roughly what to expect this time. You can expect the following:
- Large “Jujutsu Kaisen” collaboration
- Maybe a Jujutsu Kaisen event pass
- WWE collaboration
- Shop tabs will be added
- Starter pack for Season 4
- The Apparatus updates
- Benders gun will be put in the vault
- Maybe Season 4 leaks
- New reality expansions
- And more!
This time it seems to be more of a major maintenance, which is likely to bring some new skins to the shop.
