In Fortnite the first content update for Patch 9.30 has been released. It includes the new weapon Revolver and the 14 Days of Summer. The Pumpgun also returns to the game. We show you the English patch notes for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, iOS, and Android.
What does the update bring? Today, on June 25, Fortnite released the first content update for Patch 9.30. This includes nerfs for the drum gun. Also, the pocket rift is disappearing from the vault. What else has changed, you will find out here.
Highlights of the Patch Notes 9.30 with Pumpgun and Revolver
New Weapon: Revolver. The gun is available in Epic and Legendary variations.

- Damage 63 / 66
- Headshot multiplier x2
- Findable on the ground, in chests, vending machines, supply drops, and loot drones
The Pumpgun is back!
These items are going to the vault:
- Rare tactical assault rifle
- Impulse grenade
- Pocket rift
- Pirate cannon
These items are coming out of the vault:
- Uncommon and rare Pumpgun (find it on the ground and in vending machines)
- Shockwave grenade
- Suppressed submachine gun
- Revolver (common, uncommon, rare)
Why is the Pumpgun back? As the developers at Fortnite write, they brought the weapon back for testing purposes. It is said that they received a lot of feedback regarding the effectiveness of tactical shotguns and combat shotguns.
They now want to see how adding the Pumpgun to the arsenal of shotguns affects the game.
Weapon Adjustments
The following weapons received balance adjustments in Battle Royale:
- Tactical shotgun: Spawn rate on the ground now 5.4% (previously 8.19%) – Headshot multiplier now 2.25 (previously 2)
- Burst submachine gun: Spawn rate on the ground now 3.1% (previously 5.03%),
- Spawn rate in chests now 10.32% (previously 18.66%)
- Accuracy increased by 13.6%
- Base damage increased from 23/24/25 to 24/25/26
- Aim accuracy while jumping reduced by 5% (previously 15%)
- Aim accuracy while sprinting reduced by 20% (previously 30%)
- Semi-automatic sniper rifle: Spawn rate on the ground now 0.44% (previously 0.65%) – In chests now 3.4% (previously 5.1%)
- Stone shotgun: Spawn rate on the ground now 1.32% (previously 1.97%)
- Infantry rifle: Magazine size for Epic and Legendary increased from 8 to 10
- Minigun: Player damage increased from 18/19 to 20/21
- Drum gun: Magazine size decreased from 50 to 40 – Fire rate decreased from 9 to 8
- Heavy assault rifle: Damage increased from 36/38/40 to 38/40/42
Gameplay Changes
New Event: The 14 Days of Summer are now active in the game. We have already learned through data mining what tasks await you in the coming days:
Supply Llama: The amount of materials has been increased from 200 to 350 materials each.
Furthermore, you will now find 5 Llamas on the map per match instead of just 3.
Save the World
New Weapon: The Astro Bat 9000. This is a swinging bat that deals high damage but low impact.
It can perform the attack “Energy Smasher”. This is a heavy attack that shoots an explosive energy ball towards enemies and deals area damage.
New Event: 14 Days of Summer. A new mission appears every day. If you complete this for 14 days, you unlock a new weapon.
By completing missions, you earn summer tickets. It is also worth checking the X-ray shop daily, as there is a free Llama every day.
New War Game Simulation: Shortcut. Strange doors appear near enemy spawn points. When the husks go inside, they come out of an exit door that is close to your fortress.
Some husks receive elemental effects by using the doors.
