Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS & Xbox One) receives new skins, outfits and emotes with each update that gradually appear in the shop. Update 4.2 has leaked new offers from data miners.
New patch, new skins and outfits. As usual, the new Patch 4.2 already contains data for future shop items in its code. These will likely be available for purchase with V-Bucks in the coming days.
With patch 4.2, monsters, jungle fighters and protective suits are in high demand.
This time it’s about monsters and hazardous materials
What could soon come to the shop? Diligent data miners dug deep into the code shortly after the release of update 4.2. The following images have come to light.
The new skins and outfits – It’s getting darker
The last shop offers in Season 3 were quite colorful. In Season 4, Epic seems to prefer a darker look. The names and prices of the new skins are not yet known. The data miners are still digging. However, the look this time is rather dark and less funny than previously experienced. Among the outfits are:
- Protective suits against hazardous materials
- A type of superhero costume made of chrome and brass, reminiscent of retro science fiction.
- A swamp monster costume as if from an old horror film!
- A soldier in Rambo style
The new pickaxes, gliders and emotes
These are the harvesting tools: Additional gear is also plentiful. There are 4 new pickaxes, including a battery screwdriver, a film camera, and a stop sign shaped like an axe.
The new gliders: Two new gliders, one for the protective suits and one for the retro hero, are also included. There are also protective suit backpacks and a battered ventilator.
Emotes are also available: Four new emotes complete the offerings, including a pop dance and a clapperboard animation.
When and whether these shop offers will come into the game is still unknown.
