What kind of leak is this? Weekly, Fortnite: Battle Royale presents its players with new tasks in a season. They can expand their Battle Pass and unlock cosmetic items and V-Bucks. So completing the tasks is worth it.
Before the challenges are officially introduced this afternoon, on May 16, a leak has already spread. This comes from data miners who have taken a close look at the game data.
How credible is the leak? These tasks were already discovered by data miners a few days ago. It’s possible that the Update 9.01 on Wednesday has changed the tasks.
Keep in mind that the challenges may still change until this afternoon. Nothing is guaranteed yet.

These are the leaked tasks:
- Use 5 fans in different matches
- Land at: Snobby Shores, Fatal Fields, Sunny Steps, Dusty Divot, and Happy Hamlet
- Eliminate 3 opponents at Sunny Steps or Shifty Shafts
- Deal 500 damage to opponents with pistols
- Visit a giant phone, a large piano, and a trophy of a dancing fish
- Search 3 chests at different named locations in a match
- Eliminate opponents from at least 50 meters, 75 meters, or 100 meters away
What do the challenges offer in addition? The leak also shows that large XP rewards await you. It is said that if you complete 4 challenges from this week, you will receive 5,000 experience points. Completing 6 tasks will reward you with a new Fortbyte.
