Fortnite: Battle Royale introduced with Patch 10.00 Season X. The English patch notes are full of crazy new features. This includes 8 items being removed and wild new things coming to Fortnite Battle Royale.
This is included in the new update 10.00 of Fortnite: The new Season 10/X brings tons of new things. The map is changing, a new Battle Pass is coming and then some items will be removed, including real problem cases.
The features and contents of Patch 10.0 in Fortnite: Battle Royale
New “Vehicle” – B.I.E.S.T.: These are huge mechs controlled by two players. The driver controls the thing and can sprint quickly, perform double jumps, and crush opponents. He also collects trampled resources.
The shooter, on the other hand, has a shotgun and a rocket launcher. You can also control the mech alone, but then you have to constantly switch between driver and shooter. Additionally, you can deploy a shield in the mech for 200 resources, which protects you from damage for 5 seconds.
Shotgun:
- Magazine size: 10
- Damage: 50
- Headshot multiplier: x1.5
The rocket launcher, on the other hand, can fire up to 10 rockets at once.
These items are being removed: At the start of Season 10, the Fortnite developers are taking out various old features in a purge. So the following items are affected:
- Hamster Ball (this will please many players, as the Hamster Ball dominated tournaments)
- Quad Crasher
- Stone Smash Pistol
- Shadow Bomb
- Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle
- Tactical Assault Rifle
- Turret
- Air Strike
- Redeployable Glider (still available in large team modes)
New feature – Missions: A new challenge mechanic where you complete thematically related objectives to earn battle stars, XP, and exclusive cosmetic items.
Gameplay changes and bug fixes: The following minor changes have also been made:
- Campfires now heal vehicles.
- The Storm Scout Sniper Rifle now does not have perfect accuracy when shooting from the hip after using the scope.
- New sounds for bullet impacts
New tournaments: In the arena, the new season begins with solos and trios. There is a new ranking system with 10 divisions.
Changes in creative mode: In creative mode, you can now control the storm yourself and set storm phases individually. Additionally, there will be weapon-free zones.
The patch highlights from the update to Patch 10.00 in PvE
Here awaits a useful new feature and a cool road trip for you.
New missions – Road to Summer: Help Quinn reach the radio station to go live with the perfect summer song. To do so, he drives along the road with a hover truck, and you need to protect him. The better it goes, the more loot you get at the end.
New hero – Cloaked Star: This mythical ninja, who has particularly deadly throwing stars, returns to the event shop.
New features – Emotes and Spind: You can now use your emotes, music packs, and loading screens from Battle Royale in PvE as well. All emotes you own are available in all game modes.
