Anyone who owns an iPhone or iPad can now play the mobile version of the battle royale shooter Fortnite. You no longer need a separate invitation.
While previously you needed invitations to play the immensely successful Fortnite on an Apple mobile device, this is no longer required. You simply download the game and start playing.

Play Anytime, Anywhere
Well, it’s not that simple, as you do need to own a supported iOS device. This includes:
- iPhone SE
- iPhone 6S
- iPhone 7
- iPhone 8
- iPhone X
- iPad Mini 4
- iPad Air 2
- iPad 2017
- iPad Pro
Not supported are iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus, iPad Air, Mini 2, Mini 3, and iPod Touch.

Mobile Version Almost Matches the Original
If you can play, you enjoy a round and very smooth gaming experience that is hardly inferior to the original when you master the controls. Weekly challenges are also included. This allows Fortnite to be played almost as you know it from the PC or console version on your iOS device.
The Android version of the online shooter is set to launch soon. Epic Games will announce the exact date later.
