In Fortnite: Battle Royale, there is a new weapon in the game. The suppressed sniper rifle is here, and first players have already enjoyed using the weapon.
What can the new rifle do? The suppressed sniper rifle has been in the game since the update for patch 7.10. It is essentially a bolt-action sniper rifle with a suppressor.
Thus, it deals somewhat less damage than the comparable original. The epic version deals 100 damage, while the legendary version deals 105 points of damage.
The bolt-action rifle scores 100 and 116 points of damage in this category. However, even the suppressed version is still enough to take out an unprotected opponent with a single shot.
The new rifle in action

The new rifle is precise and deadly. The players in the video can, as usual, take out opponents with a single well-placed shot. Additionally, the rifle cannot be heard.
This is the major advantage of the rifle: In a battle, the player misses an opponent who is standing on a rooftop. If a regular rifle had been used, the shot would have alerted the opponent, and he would have immediately built a stronghold. However, here he remains unsuspecting and is shot in the second attempt.
It seems that the new rifle is a strong addition to the arsenal in Fortnite and offers a lot of enjoyment for snipers. On the other hand, the weapon could also cause a lot of frustration when being shot from behind by virtually “invisible” bush campers.
