In Fortnite: Battle Royale you should visit various witch houses. This is part of the Nightmares challenges for the Halloween event. We will show you what the huts look like and where to find them.
What is this task about? The Update 14.40 was released on Wednesday, October 21. This also marked the kickoff for the Fortnite Nightmares, which brought some new challenges. More tasks have now been unlocked.
In one challenge, you need to visit various witch huts located at several spots on the map. For this task, you must visit 3 of them.

Finding Witch Houses – Locations
Where are the houses located? You will find the witch houses at locations that are not named on the map. After Update 14.40, these were added to the map. Here they are located:
- Southwest of Sweaty Sands, on the edge of the map (Grid A4)
- Northwest of Salty Springs (Grid C4)
- North of Dooms Domain (Grid D2)
- Southeast of Catty Corner, on the edge of the map (Grid H7)
- South of Slurpy Swamp, in the swamps (Grid C7)
- In the middle of The Authority and Lazy Lake (Grid F5)
- Southwest of Steamy Stacks, on the edge of the map (Grid H2)
A visit to these houses is worth it not only for this task, as you also need to find broomsticks for another challenge. These are also located at the witch huts.

Once you have successfully visited 3 witch houses, the task is considered completed, and you can focus on the next challenges. You can complete the Nightmares tasks until November 3, as the Halloween event will end then.
With the Nightmares tasks, you can not only earn experience points but also unlock cool Halloween items. You can then equip yourself for the celebration if you will be celebrating in the game. I, Eilyn, will celebrate Halloween for the first time this year not in Fortnite but in another game.
