With a new trailer, Fortnite gives a taste of the “Battle Pass” skins in Chapter 4 Season 5. There’s a brief glimpse of the map, focusing on the new skins, weapons, and vehicles that you’ll be trying out.
What skins can I expect? In line with the server downtime, the trailer provides a quick overview of the skins that will be available in the Battle Pass. New weapons are also demonstrated, most of which should be familiar to those from Chapter 4. These skins await you:
- Remix Knight
- Remix Ragnarok
- Remix Renegade Raider
- Remix Peely
The interesting part is that although the Battle Pass is small this time, Epic Games is still charging the full price of 950 V-Bucks from you (via fortnite.com).

The old map and familiar faces from Chapter 1
What else happens in the trailer? The trailer showcases the Chapter 1 map in all its glory. Intense battles, accompanied by the new skins in the Battle Pass, with weapons that pretty much every OG player from Chapter 1 should know.
In the battles, explosive plungers, the Rift grenade, rocket launchers, and the familiar pump shotgun are used to obliterate any opponent that stands in your way.
Many vehicles are also shown in the fights that you can use in your battles, including:
- The Bouncers
- The planes
- Shopping carts
- Golf carts
- Hoverboards
All players are moving on the familiar “Chapter 1” map, which was swallowed by a black hole many years ago.
When does Season 5 start in Chapter 4? We can’t say for sure. Currently, the servers are down and waiting for the new update. So, until you can log in, you need to wait for the update and download it once it’s online. We estimate that Season 5 will start around 11 – 1 PM. Depending on complications and queues, the start window might shift.
