Fortnite: Fortbyte #78 – Look for it by the fire tower at the drained lake

In Fortnite: Battle Royale, you can now search for and find Fortbyte #78. It’s easy to find if you know where the fire watchtower is located by a drained lake.

Where is the Fortbyte? Fortbyte number 78 is located according to the game text “Inside a fire watchtower, from which you can overlook a drained lake.”

The drained lake is none other than the legendary Loot Lake, where major events took place in Season 6 and 8 . The sought-after fire watchtower (Ranger’s Tower) is located in the northeast of the former lake. It is a wooden tower with several floors. You can find the byte at the very top.

This is how you can collect the Fortbyte: The Fortbyte does not require any special actions, skins, or emotes this time. You just need to get into the tower alive and collect it there. Done!

The magic word is “alive” again, as some rogues have nothing better to do than to ambush you while you are peacefully searching for the daily byte. So be careful. Especially since you make a good target for nasty snipers while on the tower.
