Where is the Fortbyte? You can find the Fortbyte number 81 starting from May 15, 2019. It is somewhat better hidden than the other Bytes. Because you only have the location description “Cactus Wedge at the top of a mountain”.
Cacti are plentiful in the desert biome in the southeast. However, the prickly plants must grow in a wedge formation. This is only the case with a specific mountain, namely the one in grid section I8. That is the mountain directly southwest of Paradise Palms. The Byte is located near the cacti.
Help, the stupid Fortbyte doesn’t do anything! Like with the last Bytes, collecting it is tied to a specific condition. You have to wait until it’s day. Only then can the Byte be touched and picked up.
So you will have to wait until it’s day. So consider a detour to the Fortbyte only when you start during the day or the storm zone does not include the grid section I8 with the Fortbyte later in the game. Otherwise, you might not make it there alive.

What are Fortbytes anyway and how do you collect them all? The Fortbytes are puzzle pieces that you can collect in Season 9. There are 100 pieces and each day there is a new Byte.
