This is what has been revealed about the vehicles so far: The trailer for Chapter 2 Season 3 first showed real cars driving through the world of Fortnite. However, it became clear with the start of Season 3 that the vehicles are not available yet.
They were on the map, but you couldn’t get in and drive. After that, some cars were even completely removed. Instead, sharks or boats are your means of transportation.
Now Epic itself is commenting on the vehicles and reveals that the release will likely take a few more weeks. They say that “many vehicles are being inspected.”
Cars in Fortnite – When will it happen?
When are the cars supposed to come? Epic writes on Twitter: “Expect a few weeks until we are ready to drive.” So it may still take some time until the cars return and we can finally get into the vehicles.
According to the Battle Pass, Season 3 is supposed to last until August 27. So we should expect the release of the vehicles only towards the end of the season. After all, the cars have been announced for Season 3 and should still appear by August 27.
This is what has been revealed about the vehicles: On the Fortnite website, Epic writes that the water on the map will gradually recede and new locations will become available. Then the release of the cars would make more sense. After all, currently you can’t do much with the cars since some parts of the map are still covered by water.
Once the water level has fully receded, roads will be clear again and you could cross the entire map with vehicles.
