A 13-year-old girl is currently the “feel-good” story on Twitch and at Fortnite. Ewok started as an unknown streamer on the platform but is now on her way to stardom. Recently, she played a bit of Fortnite with Twitch giants Ninja, Chap, and DrLupo.
Who is Ewok? The 13-year-old girl first made headlines in March 2019, not because she can’t hear or is particularly young, but because she plays Fortnite exceptionally well.
By March, Ewok had 350 victories in Fortnite Battle Royale – now it’s 463.
In March, streamer TimTheTatman took notice of her and hosted her stream on his channel. Another streamer, Trevor “mizkif” also supported her on the platform. He introduced Ewok to his community, and they became quite enamored.

Ewokttv’s channel on Twitch grew rapidly. On March 11, she had about 15,000 followers, and by March 22, she already broke 100,000.
In March alone, her channel grew by 86,000 followers.
Yesterday, Ewok had another big appearance that earned her an additional 10,000 followers.
This was her performance: Yesterday, Ewok was in a team with the top-tier Fortnite streamers, including:
- Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, who leads Twitch with 14.4 million followers
- with Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo, another very well-known streamer with 3.3 million followers
- and Ryan “Chap” Chaplo, who has over 800,000 followers on Twitch
In Ewok’s reaction, you can see that she can hardly believe who she is playing with.
In the stream, the 13-year-old performed well and impressed with beautiful snipes, as the US site Dexerto reports.
In the scene, she can be seen reviving Chap and then taking down an opponent with snipes, gesturing expressively.
Experts advise teams: Just sign her
That’s why this is the feel-good story: The story of this 13-year-old hearing-impaired girl seems to be giving everyone something positive at the moment. What the girl achieves is perceived as impressive and simply beautiful.
Ninja simply calls it: “Awesome.”
The eSports expert Rod Breslau says he spoke with Ewok’s father. He and the family fully support Ewok’s passion for gaming.
Breslau believes that an eSports team will soon sign Ewok – they could really use a “feel-good” moment right now.
For Breslau, Ewok is an inspiration, not just for the hearing impaired but also for girls who want to play, stream, and compete in esports.
Epic has also now noticed Ewokttv and invited her to their big Pro-Am tournament. The 13-year-old will meet many stars again, likely hitting some right between the eyes.
