What will happen in Fortnite today? The new Season 9 is already a week old, and the first minor patch is coming out. Due to the “small” version number, you shouldn’t expect any big surprises.
For battle royale enthusiasts, there will be a new weapon! However, before you can go hunting with it, you will first have to go through some maintenance. MeinMMO has all the info!
Fortnite servers going down – when and for how long?
When does the server downtime start? At 09:30 AM German time, you will not be able to join new games anymore. This is to prevent you from being thrown out of ongoing matches.
At 10:00 AM German time, the Fortnite servers will be completely down and the game will no longer be accessible.
When will the servers be back up? Since it’s a minor patch, the downtime should be manageable. You should be able to log back in by noon at the latest.
If there are unforeseen issues with Fortnite developer Epic, you will find out promptly on MeinMMO. Just like the patch notes, which we will provide after the maintenance starts.

What will the update bring for battle royale fans? In addition to the obligatory bug fixes, there will also be a solution for the death location in Neo-Tilted, where players had to meet their end without enemy action.

What does update 9.01 bring for Save the World players? So far, Epic has not released a new roadmap for the PvE faction of Fortnite. Accordingly, little is known about today’s update. Rumor has it that there could be a new game mode for the Wargames introduced with Season 9.
