What is happening today in Fortnite? With the update to version 7.0, the new Season 7 in Fortnite also starts today, just in time for St. Nicholas. Players can look forward to new content in both Battle Royale and PvE mode “Save the World”.

Fortnite servers go offline – When will they be back online?
When does the server downtime start? Epic will disable player search for Fortnite at around 09:30 AM German time. You will not be able to join new instances. At 10:00 AM German time, the servers will be completely shut down. You will no longer have access to the game.
When will the Fortnite servers be back online? Typically, Epic only needs a few hours during regular maintenance cycles. However, with update 7.0, we are getting a larger release, which could extend the maintenance duration. You should be able to log back in between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, as long as Epic does not encounter unforeseen issues.
Once the servers are back up, you will be informed as usual on MeinMMO. Right at the start of maintenance, we will also provide the patch notes as soon as they are available.
