In Fortnite, helicopters might soon be available that are even stronger than the annoying planes. We will show you what these helicopters are and why they could be so powerful.
What kind of helicopters are these? There are some hints indicating that there might be helicopters in Season 2.
In the “Top Secret” trailer, a helicopter is seen landing on the roof of the agency.
At The Grotto, there is a large helicopter landing pad.
However, not only hints can be found in the game itself, as data miners have been able to filter data regarding the helicopters. Among other things, they also found information on how much damage the helicopters are supposed to inflict.
How powerful are the helicopters supposed to be?
The data miner HYPEX found out how many hit points and what advantages the helicopters in Fortnite are supposed to have.
He posted this on Twitter:
The helicopters are supposed to have these advantages:
- 1,500 hit points
- A speed boost
- Can deal damage to players when it flies into them
The data miner FNBRQ posted on Twitter how much damage the helicopters are supposed to cause to various objects and players:
There are some different types of damage that can be inflicted with the helicopter. It can not only destroy structures but also explode or fly into enemies.
This is how much damage it is supposed to inflict:
- Damage to players: 50
- Damage to buildings: 150
- Explosion damage to players: 70
- Explosion damage to buildings: 450
- Collision with a player: 20 (at lowest speed)
Helicopters even more annoying than planes?
Aircraft are well-known in Fortnite. In Season 7, planes were introduced, which were then removed from the game at the start of Season 8.
The plane had already caused excitement back then as it:
- Could fly through buildings
- Had a built-in machine gun
- Allowed players to shoot from the air
Players then demanded a nerf so that the plane would lose some of its advantages:
The helicopters, which are likely to be available in Fortnite soon, could be even more annoying as they cause more damage than the known planes.
If they can also take 4 players and have a built-in machine gun, it could create some outrage in the game.
We will probably have to wait to see how powerful the helicopters really become and whether they will be more annoying than the planes. Because the found data in the code is first to be regarded as placeholders. Until release, everything about damage and hit points may still change.
A new item has generated excitement, especially among streamers:
