We are entering week 9 of the third season of Fortnite: Battle Royale. You don’t have much time left to reach level 100 and grab the coveted John Wick skin. This week’s challenges will have you visiting taco shops and wading through the swamp of Moisty Mire with the treasure map.
Only a few days left – then the third season in Fortnite: Battle Royale will be history. What will happen next? Epic hasn’t revealed anything yet. However, it is expected that the current battle pass system will continue in some form or another.
The challenges for week 9 have already been leaked: They have indeed arrived and they are not too difficult.
Specifically, you need to complete the following standard challenges this week:
- Deal damage to opponent structures (5,000)
- Search chests in Haunted Hills (7)
- Build structures in the landscape (250)
- Get kills with the shotgun (5)
- Eliminate opponents in Lucky Landing (3)
Additionally, you need to complete these two trickier tasks:
- Visit different taco shops in a single match (3)
- Follow the treasure map from Moisty Mire (1)

Visit different taco shops in Fortnite: Battle Royale in a single match!
On the map of Fortnite: Battle Royale, there are five taco shops identifiable by the glowing letters above the entrance. You must visit three out of the five shops in a single match to earn the stars for the battle pass.
The order in which you visit the taco shops is up to you – however, you should keep an eye on the storm’s progression to avoid being caught off guard at the end.

Follow the treasure map from Moisty Mire in Fortnite: Battle Royale!
As in previous weeks, you do not need to find the treasure map – it is sufficient to go directly to the marked spot. Once you have found the correct location, a battle star will appear as if by magic that you just have to collect.
You do not have to wade through the swamps of Moisty Mire and can go directly to the marked spot on the house with the two chimneys south of Retail Row. The exact location of the treasure is marked in the following image:
