The challenges of week 8 in season 8 of Fortnite: Battle Royale have been leaked. If everything is correct, you will be looking for puzzle pieces.
What is this leak about? In a season of Fortnite: Battle Royale, new challenges start regularly. Before they appear in the game and become visible to all players, data miners look for the tasks.
For week 8, data miners found interesting tasks in the code of patch 8.40 . If these are correct, you will have to complete some trickier tasks this week.
These are the leaked tasks: As FortniteInsider reports, the leaked challenges are most likely correct because they appeared so late in the code. Epic would not make significant changes at this short notice. The data miner FiremonkeyFN found the following challenges:
- Free
- 1: Search for the treasure map marker in Paradise Palms – Stage 2: Look for the X indicated on the treasure map
- 2: Use 3 vending machines in different matches
- 3: Deal 100 damage to opponents while using at least one balloon
- Paid
- 4: Search for puzzle pieces under bridges and in caves
- 5: Dial the number of Durrr Burger on the big phone in the west of Fatal Fields – Stage 2: Dial the number of Pizza Pit on the big phone in the east of The Block
- 6: Eliminate opponents at Dusty Divot or Lucky Landing
- 7: Eliminate opponents from at least 50 meters away
New skins for Fortnite have also been leaked
This may still change: Although the leaked tasks are almost certainly accurate, their distribution may change. It is not guaranteed which challenges will be free and which will be paid. This will only become clear when week 8 of season 8 officially starts.
When do the challenges come? Since the time change, the challenges of Fortnite: Battle Royale start around 16:30 German time. According to the in-game display, this is likely the case again today, April 18.
