Which popular skins are meant? These 2 outfits are among the rarest and most popular skins. The Skull Trooper and Ghoul Trooper are the ones being referred to.
The Skull Trooper is currently in the shop: The Skull Trooper has returned today after update 11.01, along with the Skull Ranger skin in the item shop. The set is available until 2:00 AM, so you need to hurry.
Additionally, there is a set with a glider, a pickaxe, and a back accessory. The Skull Trooper has also received another style variant.

Leak suggests return of the Ghoul Trooper: Data miner HYPEX found some leaks that show the Ghoul Trooper in other variants. There is a variant that closely resembles the Brainiac skin and a pink version.
This could be an indication that the skin might return to the shop this year.

The OG skins are likely returning
When were these skins last available? These two have been known since the first Halloween in Fortnite. Both were available in the item shop in 2017.
The Skull Trooper returned for Halloween 2018. For those who purchased him in 2017, there was an OG version in a purple color.
The Ghoul Trooper is still considered one of the rarest skins. It was only available during Halloween 2017 and has not returned since.
However, this could change now. Due to the new versions that were leaked, there is a strong suspicion that he might return now.
For players who purchased the skin the first time, there will likely be an OG variant available.
