In Week 9 of Season 7 in Fortnite, you should destroy balloons. The task is: Pop 10 golden balloons. We will show you where to do this.
What is it about? One of the new challenges in Fortnite requires you to pop 10 of the golden balloons. The task is easy to complete if you know where these air-filled treasures are located.
You can find them in various places, higher up or on the ground. You can destroy them however you want. For example, use any weapon if the balloons are further away. But hurry up. The items burst very quickly and can easily be stolen by opponents.
In this overview, we will show you the currently known locations of the golden balloons. If you find more, feel free to share the locations with us in the comments.
Where are the golden balloons in Fortnite? At the marked locations on the map, you will find the golden balloons. These are simply balloons that spawn at those spots. In the following screenshot, you see one of those balloons. In this case, at Lucky Landing – Grid F10.

- Lucky Landing F10 – On the piece of mountain that extends slightly into the sea
- Frosty Flights B9 – In the Yeti cave behind a wooden wall
- Paradise Palms I9 – The dino holds the balloon in its “hand”
- Paradise Palms J8 – On the trailer that is on the enclosed field
- Paradise Palms H9 – In the middle of the lake
- Fatal Fields G5 – At the top of the windmill
- Retail Row I6 – On the back of the bear sculpture
- Lonely Lodge J5 – At the scaffolding of the huge fire tower
- H5 (north of Retail Row) – At the bottom of the power pole
- Wailing Woods J3 – At the low loader that hangs at the edge of the map
- Wailing Woods J2 – At the top, at the head of the stone sculpture
- Tomato Temple G4 – At the edge of the slope in the stone ruin
- Dusty Divot F6 – At the top, outside on the building – Exactly at the border between F5/F6/G5/G6
- Salty Springs G6 – At a bench at head height
- Loot Lake E4: In front of the mountain, at the bottom in the water
- D2 (north of Pleasant Park) – In the broken sign of the motel
- Haunted Hills B2 – On the roof of the graveyard
- Tilted Towers D5 – On the bed of a blue pickup truck
- Snobby Shores B6 – On the mountain by the camp, right next to the tents
- Frosty Flights A8 – Right at the runway at the sign

I can’t find a balloon: It is possible that an opponent has already been at this location before you and destroyed a balloon. Just run to another point on the map to continue with the task.
