Another challenge for the 14-Day Summer Event in Fortnite is here. This time you need to find giant beach umbrellas and rubber ducks on the river in a single match. How to accomplish this, you can find out here.
This is the challenge: The 12th task of the 14-Day Summer Challenges requires you to visit the massive rubber duck and also find a large beach umbrella in the same match. The umbrellas are easy to find, but the duck is a challenge.
All locations of the giant beach umbrellas and how to find the rubber duck
Where are the giant beach umbrellas? The giant beach umbrellas are the easy part of the challenge. You can find them at the following locations on the map:
- Southwest of Pleasant Park
- The northern island in Lazy Lagoon
- On the hill west of Dusty Divot
- At the small cliff west of Lonely Lodge
- On the hill southwest of Salty Springs, at the edge of the ice biome
- At the curve of the road northwest of Paradise Palms
It is sufficient if you reach one of these 6 umbrellas. Once you have reached one, you may also want to complete the task where you need to jump off the umbrella. However, to fulfill the current task, you must not only visit the umbrella, but you also need to reach the giant rubber duck. And that must be in the same match!
Where can I find the giant rubber duck? For the task to count as completed, you also need to visit the giant rubber duck. Unfortunately, it is not so easy to find, as it moves up and down the large river. The river flows from Loot Lake to the south and empties into the sea at Lucky Landing.
The duck is somewhere on the river, so keep an eye out for it from the air. Ideally, you should go to the duck first, then you will have that done, and can then visit the next beach umbrella nearby.

What’s the problem with the task? Since you need to visit the umbrellas and the duck in the same match, the whole plan goes awry if you get shot on the way. So either do the task in a respawn mode or be very careful when you have found the duck and want to visit the nearest umbrella.
What’s the reward? Once you have completed this task, you will receive a back bling in the shape of a cute rubber duck.
